Today includes upgraded efforts to decorate my Christmas tree in a gold and burgundy theme. I think it needs more lights and some wired ribbon streams. Any input?
Venturing into new low cost creative ways to bless those we love with gifts to celebrate led me to try forcing flower bulbs this year. Learning along the way is teaching me the sprouting time for various bulb varieties. This is one of my little projects where the paper white narcissus is shooting way ahead of the slow sprouting hyacinth. Once the bulbs are set in water it is a marvelous opportunity to practice patience- they take weeks.
